Luke 42077 Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 We have a new QNAP package available for testing: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/51334-new-qnap-package-for-testing/ Unlike the current package in the QNAP community, this is built by the Emby Team and will be tested and supported by us. It is also built with the new .NET Core runtime from Microsoft, which has major performance improvements over the mono runtime used by the community package. Please try it out if interested in helping us test it. Thanks !
avshmu 0 Posted September 30, 2017 Author Posted September 30, 2017 Hi, Great news -- will give it a try tomorrow. Question: Does it need Qmono installed on the NAS? Thanks, Avi
avshmu 0 Posted September 30, 2017 Author Posted September 30, 2017 Removed old Emby server and installed your new one. Works on Windows PC, but Android devices give an error: * Switch Server Option gives - "Server unavailable" * Enter manually gives - "Error connecting to server".
avshmu 0 Posted September 30, 2017 Author Posted September 30, 2017 Following my last try in my previous message, I rebooted the NAS. Now even Windows won't find the server...
PenkethBoy 2068 Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 did you check to see if the Emby server re started on your NAs?
avshmu 0 Posted September 30, 2017 Author Posted September 30, 2017 (edited) Removed the package and reinstalled. Looks like it is active. I see that it can be stopped... Further to my previous messages, Windows browser displays the following: This site can’t be reached 10.0.0.31 refused to connect. Try: Checking the connection Search Google for 8096 ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED Stopped the Emby server and restarted. Now I get another message: This site can’t be reached 10.0.0.31 refused to connect. Try: Checking the connection Checking the proxy and the firewall ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED Use Windows Explorer to check on the NAS. The NAS is fully accessible and the files are reachable. avshmu 0 Posted September 30, 2017 Author Posted September 30, 2017 (edited) On my Android devices it didn't work, to begin with.
