dwayneson 6 Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 Hi, I have the Emby server installed on freenas PC with a wired connection to 2 separate Wetek Hubs. I was previously running We OS with Kodi v16 with the Emby addon and had no problems. I upgraded to Kodi v17.1 and emby addon 2.3.46. Since this upgrade it still logs on to emby and updates my library as per the server. However if I watch something it does not get marked as watched on the server, just locally on the device. The next time I start kodi it remembers the things I have watched on this device. I have noticed that the recent activity on the server shows when I have logged in/out however it does not show when I watch something like it use to. I did reset the local kodi database after installing the emby addon however it did not fix it. I have tried enabling/disabling fast startup but there is no difference. If i open the emby app on the same device it all works fine and my watched status syncs back to the server and other devices. I have also recently changed the OS on one of the Wetek Hubs from We OS to LibreELEC in an attempt to fix this (same Kodi v17.1 and Emby Addon 2.3.46) but the same problem occurs. One good thing is that it scans and adds all items to the library much quicker when I reset the database on LibreELEC than it does on WE OS. I have attached a log file from the Hub running LibreELEC. Let me know if there is anything else you would like me to provide to assist in solving this headache. Thank you 01_KODI.log
dwayneson 6 Posted March 31, 2017 Author Posted March 31, 2017 Sorry I just found this thread https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/44807-krypton-not-reporting-play-status-to-server/page-4 and realised that my problem is the same. It seems as though it is solved. Now I just need to figure out how to apply this update on LibreELEC on my WeTek Hub. If anyone can please advise that would be very helpful. Thank you.
Luke 42078 Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 I imagine the change will be included in a future update of the Emby for Kodi add-on, is that right @@xnappo?
xnappo 1611 Posted March 31, 2017 Posted March 31, 2017 It is fixed in the Git right now. I will try to push it to the repo this weekend. 1
dwayneson 6 Posted April 13, 2017 Author Posted April 13, 2017 Updated to the beta and I can confirm it is all working perfectly now. Great work, thank you! 2
