Cannot Connect to browser using WAN url.

I can connect to my own machine with using locahost url but the WAN url it will not connect.  I keep on getting an error on not being able to connect to it.

Do you have the ports forwarded in your gateway and router?

 

You need to forward posts 8096 and 8945 to your computer on the router and gateway (if separate). Otherwise the server won't be found when someone makes a request at your IP address.

Both ports are forwarded, and i even have the firewall disabled to get it working and still no go

I hope you try this from an external network?

Or do you try to use it on your internal network?

You are trying to connect with your external IP address - the IP address assigned by your Internet service provider (whatismyipaddress.com) not the local server?
