Rbharris1 0 Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 I have some TV recordings that have an additional sound channel with audio description ... When I play them inside windows media centre or media player I only get the normal sound but in android client and html client I getthe audio description too Martyn I have the same issue, but it manifests on Roku and and iPhone. Haven't tried the android client. With the HTML client I can choose the proper audio track. With roku, the issue is present when I have a newly recorded show that hasn't been renamed and moved into the proper MB folder structure (I use WTV-MetaRenamer for this process.). Before that takes place, for some shows the narrated track plays by default and there is no way to select a different one. This happens almost exclusively with shows recorded from FOX, for instance. But, after the file is renamed and moved, I have the option of selecting an audio track on the episode selection screen in the roku app. To my knowledge, there is no change to the file during the move process other than renaming it to MB's preferred format. With the iPhone app, I have not found any way to select the audio, and the shows play the narrated track by default even after they have been moved.
Tikuf 663 Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 It is likely that it is a bug we have in the server atm where media info is not present for some videos. Hopefully it will be sorted soon (report back after next beta release please).
