Emby Server - Request additional filters in reports

I absolutely LOVE emby's server reports and export to CSV and XLS feature but I find it lacking 3 items which I would consider crucial to have the reports as being a fully rounded reporting system.

The three features I feel it should include are these:

* Filesize

Having this is an absolute must for individuals with limited space - and lots of files. I do a lot of re-encoding with handbrake ; so knowing the file sizes on the reports would be extremely helpful 

* Absolute path 

Knowing the full directory path to the files would allow more sort functionality and spotting inconsistencies where particular media files are located. IE: Raiders in c:\drama\raiders rather than c:\adventure\raiders

* Full file name

Knowing the file names can allow a person to find issues regarding the file itself. If one has, lets say, chose the directory path as one of the columns and also had full file name on for the second column and saw the directory c:\adventure\superman but the main movie in that directory is named "barbie's_adventure.avi" there may be a problem.. 

Keeping the default report columns as they are would be just fine; as I use the current layout of the reports frequently. But having these optional items available to be checked when needed - would be such a fantastic addition to an already great tool.

Just an addendum to my specific request for specific column additions. 

It might even be more logical to supply us with the ability to add as many as we would like to have in the report by just giving us the ability to + add another column and have all the selections available in a drop down list of friendly DB names to choose from. That way; the reports can have whatever the person wants in them without restrictions to a few hand picked entries that are currently offered.

This could also be expanded (possibly) into giving us the ability to add expressions and keyword fields for regex search/match in the reporting - or at the very least lay the groundwork for it by making the whole thing more open ended

Hi everyone,

 

Some extra columns could be appreciated too :

- the bandwidth (video / audio) : my main need is to check which ones are the prior to optimize by converting into hevc / aac

- and the languages (audio / sub ; at least the default one as it could be difficult to still have one line per video) : this one is to check if some are "undefined", so I could modify it with an external tool like mkvtoolnix

 

I admit there are very specific needs ;-)

I hope this request is not a duplicate but I could not find it elsewhere in the Forum.

I would REALLY love a column for FPS. Hope that is not too much to ask.

Hi, we can add that but it will be added to the table views of the web app rather than the reports plugin. Thanks for the feedback.
