steve1977 67 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I really like the advanced filter, which is truly helpful for media management. Would be great if "missing posters" could be added (probably more important than "missing overview" and all the "features"). A second one to add would be "movie duplicates", but understand there are some concerns on this one. Thanks for considering! 1
Koleckai Silvestri 1154 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 The metadata editor shows which images are missing in the left column. Not a filter per se but it gives you a good indication of what is missing. Adding it to filters would help really large libraries if you don't use Media Folders.
steve1977 67 Posted February 9, 2014 Author Posted February 9, 2014 Your second line explains why I suggest the two features. Everyone with libraries above 250 movies will appreciate. And folks like me with thousands even more...
Luke 42077 Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 Instead of adding more filters to the browsing area, which probably will become a filter overload over time, what i'm thinking of instead is adding more categories to the metadata editor sidebar, such as movies and tv series. Then when you click on them, you would see your movies in a tabular format with data that is more appropriate for management-related functions. And that tabular display could have these kinds of advanced filters. 2
