Missing Channels Info in Guide

Recommended Posts

Posted

I recently noticed missing guide data for certain channels in the TV Guide.

The missing channels are:

180-261, 293,295,394,404,445,692,733 376-384, 700-713,761-770,902-993

I use Schedules Direct, sub is current.

I can't seem to find any setting that would correct this behavior.

ZapToIt shows all channels correctly.

Any help appreciated.

does Schedules direct have data for these channels?

Posted

Yes, it does.

My only thought about this is Comcast does a double schedule one from 1-998 and one from 999-1995 and I am not sure if this may be the problem.

Hi, please run the refresh guide scheduled task, then after it completes, please attach the emby server log. thanks !

@@Rew452 if you look at the channel mapper in the Emby web interface, are those channels mapped to anything on schedules direct?

Hi Luke,

Just checked and all channels seemed to be mapped correctly.

Channel map pdf is too large to .post.

@@Rew452, if you log into schedules direct website you can review the lineup and make sure it has those channels. Can you do that? thanks.

Hi Luke

I checked and everything looks right, checked again and used Zap2it as well and it all looks ok.

Anything else?

What exactly did you see when you checked?

Also there is a new release of Emby Server available, so please update, refresh the guide and attach a new log. Thanks.

Luke

Sorry not to get back to you any sooner but a family emergency has taken much of my this week.

I have the latest beta build, am on that program.

Schedule's Direct only show the following, is there something else you need?

SelectZip CodeLocationNameType

USAUSA-4DTV-DEFAULTSD-JSON

USAUSA-MI21588-XSD-JSON

The missing channel info problem still persists.

Last time I used the listings in Emby was a couple of months ago and all was well. So sometime from then to now is when the error occurred. Just can't say when as almost daily there have been server updates.

Anything else I can do?

As I said if I use Zap2It to view listings which uses Schedules Direct info and the channel info is all there.

Is there nothing I can do to fix this????

As a test, try removing both the tuner and guide setup, then refresh the guide to allow the database to clear out, then add them back. If it works then that is likely just a data related issue when upgrading server versions. thanks.

Thanks, Luke!

That fixed it. Will remember that, if it occurs again,
