It seems like this approach would make the app more resilient - especially with it comes to the occasional corrupt Windows profile.I would appreciate any thoughts on this! Solution Luke 42080 Posted March 18, 2017 Solution Posted March 18, 2017 Hi, the reason is because we need write access for automatic updates. We can't do that in program files without triggering an admin prompt. Luckily, the download page on our website has a portable install that you can put wherever you like, and it then becomes your responsibility to manage whether or not the server has write access to it's installation folder. (Which also is needed to install plugins). 1
