osak00006 12 Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 Hi Guys, I'm running Emby on my Unraid (Linux) server. I have no idea what caused it, but I just looked at my movie library in Emby and it's empty. Weirder still, Emby doesn't seem to see any of the content, if I try to rescan it. TV shows are working fine. I'm totally stumped. Obviously a log will help, but what specifically should I share? Should I engage a library scan before posting? Debug? Totally stumped. Thanks in advance...

yardameus 221 Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 Only one user? Make sure the logged in user has access?
Luke 42079 Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 Everything looks OK. where exactly are they gone from?
osak00006 12 Posted March 17, 2017 Author Posted March 17, 2017 Everything looks OK. where exactly are they gone from? 1. Both appuser and my username have access to all libraries 2. Movies are simply empty, with no movies at all, on all instances of Emby... the Emby UI and Emby for Kodi
osak00006 12 Posted March 17, 2017 Author Posted March 17, 2017 its like Emby is scanning an empty source, despite there being tons of contentin the NFS path
CBers 7451 Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 Sounds like permissions, but if you've already checked that.............. In Kodi, using File Manager, are you able to see the content on your Unraid server?

osak00006 12 Posted March 17, 2017 Author Posted March 17, 2017 So if I install Emby in Windows and use SMB paths, everything scans. Could someone post the correct formatting for NFS paths? /mnt/user/Movies Was working previously and /mnt/user/TV still works... Do I need to enable path substitution? I don't see that option anymore on Unraid install Sent from my HTC6535LVW using Tapatalk

Emby will treat bad mounts as empty folders and thus remove all media from the libraries on those mounts. Can you cd into the mounts from the cli? What does your fstab look like? Path substitution is now at the per-library level. Click a library and you'll see a spot for optional network paths.
melmac 0 Posted March 17, 2017 Posted March 17, 2017 Same thing happened to me today only it's all TV not Movies(movies are fine). Running 3.2.7 one user, a win PC and apple TV. Currently doing a library scan to see if it brings the TV back
osak00006 12 Posted March 17, 2017 Author Posted March 17, 2017 Adding and removing the source over and over has seemingly fixed my problem. Frustratingly, I have no idea how or why Sent from my HTC6535LVW using Tapatalk
