Scott310 137 Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 (edited) Hey Guys, I noticed that collections are being grouped together in the all movies section. I would actually prefer to not have that happen being that is what the collections view is for. Is there a way to show those titles individually and in alphabetical order in the all movies section? Its not a big deal I was just curious... Thanks! Edited March 15, 2017 by Scott310
Happy2Play 9783 Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 Dashboard-Library-Display Group movies into collections When displaying movie lists, movies belonging to a collection will be displayed as one grouped item.
Scott310 137 Posted March 15, 2017 Author Posted March 15, 2017 Thanks! I can't believe I missed that LOL.
d00zah 149 Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 When did this become an 'all, or nothing' proposition? In the WebUI, which I use for library management, grouping into collections in the 'Movies' view is redundant when there is a 'Collections' view available right next to it. However, I want movies grouped into collections in the EMC client (or any client) to cut down on a VERY lengthy list. Strange choice.

The option hasn't changed at all since it was added, that I know of.
arrbee99 1817 Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 Wasn't there an option somewhere about grouping Movies into Collections - thought it was under Home Screen Settings but can't spot it anywhere.
d00zah 149 Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 (edited) It started out as a 'per user' option & I was able to make that work for my preference... one user for clients & one user for admin. At some point, it became a 'global' option & bolluxed up the works (for me). Edited March 15, 2017 by d00zah
arrbee99 1817 Posted March 15, 2017 Posted March 15, 2017 Per user does sound better. But still, can't actually find it anywhere, guess I just haven't clicked the correct menu. Any hints ?

Per Happy's instruction in post #2. "Dashboard > Library > Display". It's moved around. Edited March 16, 2017 by d00zah
