Massive memory leak from playback

Hi!

 

i installed emby today and now after watching 1 movie i noticed that i had 10+GB of non-paged memory.

 

Restarted the whole server and started testing.

 

Whilst playing any video file from emby the Non-Paged pool grows at about 1-10MB/sec

 

No HW Accel, standard emby ffmpeg.

 

Any settings known to cause this that i might have ticked?

2x Xeon X5450

16GB RAM

Got poolmon and xperf data available to a certain degree

Tried upgrading FFMPEG to latest, still same result.

Will be running an Debian VM for the time being i suppose

It seems setting a "Temporary Transcoding Folder" have solved the issue.

I'll do some more testing and return with the results

If you have any sort of anti-malware or network monitoring type software going can you please try disabling it?

Got an AV that scans the server once every night, should be affecting this. No network monitor
