fr0sty 0 Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 Hi all, I finally decided to make the switch from Win 7 + MB Classic (god was a good setup) Moving to Kodi as my front end and testing a couple of things out. I installed the Emby for Kodi plugin the other day and set everything up. I have an issue where the fan art is not rotating on my Movies or TV shows. I have checked everything in the themes and also tried to sync Kodi theme to emby (which is in the emby settings area) however I keep getting an error where a Tvtunes configuration file is missing. Has anyone else experienced this issue? are you able to help point me in the right direction. P.S. I have checked that all movies rotate fan art / backdrops) in emby and also checked on my library that I have multiple fanart / backdrop images. Thanks

Hi Luke thanks for this Currently I am trying the Titan skin, however I have also tried Aeon. both dont seem to change the fanart even though I have enabled it in skin settings. I really love emby, I have been a long time supporter since Media Browser days. I really need something that supports PVR + media collection. At this stage the best setup is WMC + Emby Classic for me however I need to move off Windows 7 and Kodi seems closest match. There is very few PVR solutions that match Windows Media Centre in my view...

The Titan Skin will support this out of the box as it uses SkinHelper which provides this functionality. Using Direct Paths is something I always recommend as it matches the native Kodi experience and allows usage of multiple addons that you cannot use when direct paths is not turned on. My suggestion here is to post any problems you have in the Titan skin section either in the Kodi forums or here and @@marcelveldt will be able to assist you with any issues you may have,

Do I need to actually configure Direct Paths? (or am I getting this confused between the path substitution feature) I know when I was playing around on both modes playback of movies worked fine? I'll give this a go and post on the relevant forums and report back for anyone else coming across this
