weas98 0 Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 Everytime I play a video with AAC 5.1 it plays in Fast Forward with no sound. Background - I am using Emby Connect via the new Beta Emby app for Roku. I have also tried the older Emby App for the Roku. I have a Samsung TV from 2014 and am using the Roku Stick 3600. I have 2 older Samsung TV's and am having the same issue. All other types of media I don't seem to have a problem with on the Roku. The 5.1 videos play fine on the IOS Emby App and via Chrome. Also I had someone test the file on a Roku 3 in the new Beta Emby and he has no problems. I was able to send a log to @@ebr and he said the logs looked fine from the app side. He said the "It was transcoding - possibly because the bitrate test came back with only 3Mb/s" He also said it could be a ffmpeg issue and suggested to post a message on this board and get the opinion of @@Luke. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

ebr 16176 Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 If his setup supports DD then I think it should be transcoding to that.
