Replacing/merging drives question

I am about to pull out a 2tb and 1tb drive out, lets call them "movies 1" and "movies 2" and combine them onto a 4tb and call it "movies 1" will this mess up my database?  

Like add doubles of movies or anything, my thought was copy both drives to the new one, remove them from the machine, run a scan, delete "movies 2".

As I move things around, I find I might have duplicates for a bit of time while things are moving but it cleans up automatically.

Another good reason for drive pooling.  Isolates physical layout like this from the systems that access the files.

Yeah as soon as i switch out all smaller drives to 4tb I was going to use flexraid + pooling
