Diedrich 377 Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 Win 8.1 Emby Server 3.2.4.0 Emby.Kodi Sync Queue 1.4.6257.42260 Kodi 16.1 Emby for Kodi Add-on 2.3.46 There is an issue where Kodi is not updating the movies if a movie was in the Emby library and then subsequently added to a collection. You'll understand what I mean in the steps below: Add a movie to Emby Fire up Kodi and let it sync the new movie to your Movies library Exit Kodi In Emby, add the new movie to a collection. Verify it's in the collection and not in your general Movies library. Start Kodi again. Let it sync. The movie is still in the general Movie library and not removed and placed in the collection. Do a Manual Repair Database and Emby for Kodi will pick up the change and update the movie library correctly. 2
Diedrich 377 Posted March 12, 2017 Author Posted March 12, 2017 (edited) Update: I was adding movies to collections while Kodi was running in the background and the changes in Emby populated to Kodi as expected. So it seems that there is an issue with making changes while Kodi is NOT running vs while it IS running. 1. Both Emby and Kodi were running. 2. In Emby, I added a movie to a collection. 3. Switched back to Kodi and watched as the movie was correctly removed from the general movie list and added to the collection. Edited March 12, 2017 by dvgmar
xnappo 1611 Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 (edited) This used to be an issue: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/39883-server-generate-events-for-boxsets/ @@Luke - has that change reverted? Others: Please create a log showing this issue, and send both Kodi and server logs. Edited March 12, 2017 by xnappo
Diedrich 377 Posted March 16, 2017 Author Posted March 16, 2017 I've attached my logs but this issue is completely repeatable, can be done by anyone, as it's not just an issue on my end. Just follow the steps in the OP. emby.txt kodi.log
