Keylonta 0 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 (edited) How come when ever I access the web app my CPU usage jumps to 14% and doesn't stop until I close it? How do I stop this behavior? Keylonta 0 Posted March 7, 2017 Author Posted March 7, 2017 Yeah - Firefox. I tried the fix but it didn't work for me. It's 14% even when the Emby tab isn't selected. I have to close the Emby tab to stop the high usage.
Solution Luke 42077 Posted March 7, 2017 Solution Posted March 7, 2017 FYI chrome has better throttling for tabs that are in the background. I really don't think this is very abnormal. I see 23% CPU usage in Firefox just pulling up espn.com. 25% on cnn.com. And this is on a pretty beefy i7 cpu. 1
