Tolerant 74 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 (edited) I had 3 paths setup in my Movies library. I clicked the third one to remove it and the first one got removed instead. Tried again with the second one that was left, again it removed the first one. After removing the last one left then I had to re-add the two paths I did still want. Something isn't quite right about that. Edited March 6, 2017 by Tolerant
Luke 42086 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Someone else has reported this but I'm not able to reproduce. It is probably limited to occurring in some certain situation that we're just not seeing yet, thanks.
Happy2Play 9785 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 It shouldn't matter but what browser did this happen on?
PenkethBoy 2068 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 happens in chrome - 56.0.x any time you have more than one path within a library - it deletes the first path irrespective of what one you pick its had this issue for months so its not a recent change If its significant my paths are windows mapped paths - happens when the file are contained on Linux (QNAP) and Windows 2012R2 as people dont change library config that often it not a big problem unless you want to edit a library with lots of paths
Tolerant 74 Posted March 6, 2017 Author Posted March 6, 2017 I was using FireFox btw. Wouldn't be so bad if removing a path and re-adding it didn't cause the need to rescan if the path had already been in there and was just replaced and not a true new entry. 1
