twinszo 0 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Emby wont update and when i manually perform an update it fails. I have included my logs. Log.txt
Luke 42080 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 Hi, what do you mean won't update, and what exactly fails? Thanks.
Luke 42080 Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 OK, I see the library scan failure in the log. I will put in a fix for that. Thanks !
Luke 42080 Posted March 8, 2017 Posted March 8, 2017 @@twinszo, yes please try again with the next release of Emby Server. Thanks !
twinszo 0 Posted March 9, 2017 Author Posted March 9, 2017 Now the library scan just hangs without completing.
Luke 42080 Posted March 9, 2017 Posted March 9, 2017 @@twinszo, can you please attach an emby server log? thanks !
twinszo 0 Posted March 11, 2017 Author Posted March 11, 2017 Can anyone help with this? Library scans cant complete. I have removed auto box set plugin as well as removed a few folders in the library.
Luke 42080 Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 What kind of libraries do you have, and with what content types?
Happy2Play 9782 Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 Enabling Debug logging may show more information also. Dashboard-logs (requires server restart when enabled or disabled) Are those mapped or local drives for your library?
twinszo 0 Posted March 12, 2017 Author Posted March 12, 2017 I have mp3, mp4, aviation, and mkv files. These files are in my library as movies, music, and photos. Each content type has 3 folders. I also have a folder that I recorded TV shows.
Luke 42080 Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 can you try turning off internet metadata for each of the libraries, run a library scan, and see if the issue persists? thanks.
twinszo 0 Posted March 16, 2017 Author Posted March 16, 2017 (edited) I turned of internet metadata for each library. I also enabled debug logging. Real time monitoring captures any new additions to the library. When i conduct a library scan the scan will not complete. Here is a copy of my log. Log.txt Edited March 16, 2017 by twinszo
dcook 299 Posted March 16, 2017 Posted March 16, 2017 I had the same issue last night, I added new episodes last night, ran a library scan, the scan completed, but if I look in "Latest" or even click on the "Series" then "Season" the new episode was not there. I tried restarting the server which did not help. Finally I deleted my library.db file and ran the scan library task again, now it shows the episodes that I added last night.
maxsmax 0 Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 how exactly are you supposed to update, after adding a few more epps, i like to be able to go right to the tv and watch it, not w8 2 or 3 hours
Luke 42080 Posted May 13, 2017 Posted May 13, 2017 hi @@maxsmax, you would either enable the realtime montior for the library that contains the tv series, or you would run a library scan. let us know if this helps. thanks !
