KayJay 2 Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 Please help, I connected my hotspot to my computer yesterday and emby tried to download the latest version 3.2.5.0. After this all scheduled tasks were failing and the emby app itself keeps crashing and doesn't let me play my media. I've tried deleting the app and installing the stable one for the website but i get the same thing. I would suggest doing the following - uninstall all plugins, then go into Emby library setup, and uncheck the boxes for chapter image extraction for each library that you've turned it on for. Once you've done this then please try it out and let us know if the issue persists. Thanks.

I've just uninstalled 3 plugins but the chapter image extraction wasn't checked? I've restarted Emby and tried the scheduled tasks again but it's still closing on its own?

Happy2Play 9785 Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 You going to have to troubleshoot your BSOD before worring about Emby. Google suggest you run memory diagnostics.
ebr 16195 Posted March 3, 2017 Posted March 3, 2017 A BSOD is almost always a hardware driver issue. Usually either memory or graphics.
