T800 10 Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 Hello, My music folder structure is like the following: Music/B/The Beatles/Album If I add "Music" as the source MediaBrowser won't use this and add music to the library. If I add each letter, "B" it will add to the library. Is there anyway to get MediaBrowser to use my structure via some advanced settings maybe or do I just have to add each letter as a music source? Thanks for any help.
Luke 42077 Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 it should be fine. need to see examples of the contents of your B folder, Beatles folder and whatever is underneath. screenshots would be great. thanks.
T800 10 Posted February 6, 2014 Author Posted February 6, 2014 When I installed MediaBrowser3 a few weeks ago I only ran it for a few days before doing a full reinstall and I'm sure they scanned in fine as they were then. It's only now I have to add each lettered folder. Here you go:
T800 10 Posted February 6, 2014 Author Posted February 6, 2014 No, all audio files are in the album folder under the artist.
Luke 42077 Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 Do you have Any audio files directly in your artist folder s?
Trevor68 70 Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 How do I not handle music??? I haven't used the web client for awhile, logged in and now I have a music library at the top (after livetv) that has found 4 random tracks on my HTPC? Is this forced? as i have no music library added, nor ever intend to. Seems odd that it automatically added 4 random tracks and ignored the actual 30+gig of music that does reside on that PC.
Trevor68 70 Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 ah i see, it classified 4 MP4's out of my home video library as "music". Any thoughts how to remove them, with removing my videos?
