Thanks and Question (Library Scans)

Hi Emby Team!

Let me start by saying that the product you provide is the best I have ever used, i have used a couple of different media steaming app's over the years and this by far beats anything i have ever used, So thank you for the continued development and free use of this product i can't thank you enough for your hard work.

On to my question, My library scans take quite awhile to complete upwards of 15 - 20 minutes. I have a lot of media, around the 30TB mark at around 40 - 50,000 files, is this normal or can I make this any quicker? I find that new content only updates after a full scan which happens every 12 hours which is fine really but just wondered if this can be sped up at all? Is it worth moving the scan time down on the scchedule task? I don't want impact users on the service (around 15 - 20 users) by bringing the scan time down if this could happen?

I currently run emby on a Windows 2012 virtual machine on ESXi 6.5 that accesses the content to my large freenas box if this is of any use.

Once again thank you for your efforts and all your hard work with updates, If I can be of any help let me know.

Seems a little long but your data is not local so that may be normal.

Not sure if the setup supports it or not but do you have Real Time Monitoring enable per library?  Dashboard-Library-Select each library and verify settings

Ah sorry I forgot to mention, yes I have this enabled and I have toggled it and re-toggled but it doesn't seem to work unfortunately.

It could possibly be normal depending on what features are enabled.
