dcook 299 Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 In Netflix under Playback Settings you can adjust the steam from Auto, Low, Medium, High Is there a setting like thing in Emby somewhere so that users can adjust depending on their Internet speed?
Happy2Play 9783 Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Every client has some sort of playback options. You would need to be specific on which clients. Just like the web client you click the gear during playback.
dcook 299 Posted February 28, 2017 Author Posted February 28, 2017 (edited) Can this be set per user in the Dashboad? or is it only per Device? Also is there a way to dumb it down so to speak? So its similar to Netflix with 3 or 4 options? Edited February 28, 2017 by dcook
Happy2Play 9783 Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 (edited) There is currently only one option at server level. Dashboard-Playback-Streaming Internet streaming bitrate limit (Mbps): An optional streaming bitrate limit for all out of network devices. This is useful to prevent devices from requesting a higher bitrate than your internet connection can handle. Edited February 28, 2017 by Happy2Play
dcook 299 Posted February 28, 2017 Author Posted February 28, 2017 Looks like this has been requested over a year ago, I guess it is not coming anytime soon. Feature Request
