Lately I am having an overlay issue with Emby Theater Desktop.  The top part of the overlay does not connect to the top of the screen, and there is a black box in the lower right corner.  I am having trouble identifying what the issue is.

I have the same issue with the top of the overlay - but only when running in a window, it's fine in fullscreen.

I posted about this a long time ago, just watched a movie on ET tonight and noticed this has been fixed on mine.

The top portion is not fixed in windowed mode. I am looking at resolving that, thanks.

I have the issue in both windowed and maximized mode.  I am more concerned with the black box in the lower right corner.  It is always there, even when the overlay goes away.

do you happen to have another windowed application that might be positioned right there?

Posted (edited)

No other applications open.  I have this black square every time with Emby Theater Desktop.  Even after resetting.

Also, I am sure it is a part of Emby, because if I set the window just right... I can get the overlay to appear on one monitor, and the video display to appear on another monitor without the black square.  It definitely has something to do with the overlay.

Is there anyway to follow up on this issue?  It is still persisting, and I cannot figure out why.

What is your windows resolution and also system dpi setting?

That's a good question.  I will check when I get home.  I will also play around with the DPI settings and see if that's what caused it in the first place.

The DPI was it!  Thank you.

I had the Text size in Display Settings raised to 175% since it's the TV.  When I lower it to 150%, the black square disappears.  When I lower it to 125%, the overlay lines up correctly with the window.  Resolution is 1920 x 1080.
