mirloc 0 Posted February 23, 2017 Posted February 23, 2017 I've been having some minor issues with Emby Theater desktop version (running on a Windows 10 PC): 1. Most of the time everything works great, but with a somewhat alarming frequency when we click to resume a movie or a TV show, the seek bar moves to the correct spot, but the video starts over from the beginning of the video. 2. Movies seem to play perfectly, but TV shows seem to 'stutter' a bit randomly throughout, we can watch for (as an example) 30 minutes of a 45 minute show and there's a long pause, the audio kicks in right away, but the video pauses, then rushes forward out of sync with the audio until the two are back in sync. At this point the video will continue to do this process. My setup is not overly complex. The server is an older Dell desktop running OpenSUSE 14(something, I don't remember off-hand) and the Emby server is pretty much all that machine does. The video files are stored on an NFS share to the file server (also running OpenSuse 14(something). Does anyone have any idea why this happens and how to fix it? The TV shows are encoded using the same format as the movies (AVI, and some MKV, and MP4/M4V). When the system is working perfectly it's completely awesome.
