Emby working port 80

Can you help me? I need Emby to work on port 80, how can I configure my CentOS 6 server?

Trying to use port 80 or port 443 is always a little more complicated. some platforms will require you to run with elevation although i'm not sure about CentOS.

With Centos all you need to do is change the /etc/emby-server.conf file

 

Add this line to the bottom of the file:

 

EMBY_USER=root

 

Restart your server, and then login to Emby as usual, under the Advanced Settings change the port to 80
