Not working after update

Hello,

 

i never had any Problems with Mediabrowser which i couldn't solve by myself therefore this is my first post!

 

I updated my MediaBrowser in Windows Mediacenter (to v3.0.117).as suggested by the system, but after that it is not working anymore.  It says "Media Browser 3 cannot be started". I tried several uninstalls and reinstalls but nothing helped.

 

I hope someone can help me!

 

If any logfiles are needed please let me know where i can find them.

How to report a problem which is posted at the top of this forum section tells you everything you need to know about log files and where to find them and how to post them.

 

However, I'm willing to bet that your problem is that you have a "chocolate.dll" in your windows\ehome directory due to an old version of MB 2.x.  Find it and delete it.

You were right. It was the choclate.dll.
