Active Recordings Always Transcode

I am really enjoying playing Active Recordings on my Fire TV and MI Box - Thank you for making this possible.

 

However, when I play them as Active Recordings they always Transcode whereas when they have completed they will play direct. Is it possible to get the Active Recordings direct playing?

I believe that when Active they play as "trans/I" and Complete "direct/V"

Before the file is analyzed we can't know how to play it direct.

Are you saying it cannot be analyzed before it is complete?

I think it can be at least partially.  We'll have to take a look.
