ShoutingMan 101 Posted February 18, 2017 Posted February 18, 2017 (edited) The series "Planet Earth" on theTVDB has the Specials intermixed in the actual Season. I properly entered the Specials into a Season 0 folder, files named / numbered to match theTVDB data, for correct metadata. And the Server has properly categorized everything in the Metadata Manager. And viewing Season 1 in Theater, the known specials are mixed into the season listing of Shows. I'd rather not have Specials woven into a show's season ordering. Is there an option to disable this? If I wanted to, is there even a way to lock-and-edit metadata? This behavior seems to be behind the scenes by the Server pulling hidden metadata from theTVDB. Thanks. Solution blade005 185 Posted February 18, 2017 Solution Posted February 18, 2017 (edited) @@ShoutingMan There is an option in the Emby Dashboard to turn ON or OFF having specials displayed within the seasons they aired in. From the Emby Dashboard in the WebUI: Select LIBRARY from the Left Hand menu. Select DISPLAY from the Top Menu. Second Check Box down will be: Display specials within seasons they aired in UNCHECK box to not have them displayed in seasons they aired in. SAVE new settings. Edited February 18, 2017 by blade005 3

ShoutingMan 101 Posted February 19, 2017 Author Posted February 19, 2017 Thanks! I'm sure I've seen that setting before, back when I didn't know what "Specials" were
