sh0rty 717 Posted February 17, 2017 Posted February 17, 2017 (edited) Anyone know if there is a way to encrypt the library? Or setup Emby in such a way that its very difficult for ISP to see what I am actually streaming? 1. Using https with an up to date cipher suite -> Nginx Reverse Proxy. More infos here https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/44757-setting-up-ssl-for-emby-wip/ and here https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/42317-reverse-proxy-vs-hostname-forwarding/ 2. Using VPN to connect users to the server machine. IPSec/IKE would probably be enough, but due to the risk of DPI, I personally go with OpenVPN certificate based VPN. Just avoid PPTP Edited February 17, 2017 by shorty1483 1
