Chrome Cast SDK released will we see a Media Browser App for it?

Like the subject states, hope to see Media Browser working on a Chrome Cast app, I know it will take time to develop just hoping this will be seriously looked at, so that we can have a better option instead of Plex...

Two questions -

 

- Does this mean work can start on an app? So it may be some time before we see any further developments? Is any work required on the server?

 

- Is there an opportunity for a Chromebook or Chromebox app? Asus have launched this only yesterday -
