datek2001 0 Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 I tried Emby premier for a month to test the additional features and then i ended my subscription. Now my apps on Fire TV and Xbox one no longer allow any tv or movie playback. Accessing the emby DNLA server from a third party app also no longer shows my media content. I used to be able to access these features without being a premier member, did something change? Thank you
Deathsquirrel 745 Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 The xbox one and android TV apps have always required premiere or, in the case of android, a separate app purchase.
datek2001 0 Posted February 16, 2017 Author Posted February 16, 2017 If what your saying is true, than I am not sure why it worked for me previously? For months prior to me trying the premier subscription I was able to use the apps and the only lacking features were limited live tv and no dvr. Almost makes me wish I never tried premier.
Luke 42086 Posted February 16, 2017 Posted February 16, 2017 Hi @@datek2001, the fire tv app and the xbox one app both require Emby Premiere (the Fire TV app alternatively has an in-app unlock). DLNA features do not require Emby Premiere. We are happy to help you with your issue. The best thing to do is please provide the information requested in how to report a problem. thanks !
