Happy2Play 9782 Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 Why does it matter? Just wondering if you having issues or just a question of is anyone using Server 2016 and Emby. Yes, others are using it but have run into issues with installer.

Crashes on the need for Visual Studio runtimes even though they are already installed. I just end the service and run the tray icon. It updates that way. Once updated, I close the tray icon app and restart the service. Posted about the issue in the past but no one has looked into it as far as I am aware. Not running the portable install. The upgrade problem only started recently. Yeah I have to do the same thing on 2016. I also tried to run in inside windows docker, but there is still some issue with .net in docker.
