Jdiesel 1431 Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 (edited) Does anyone know where the *.ini file that LAV uses is stored? I would like to have a look in it. It seems like the internal player creates its own *.ini that overrides LAV's settings which are stored in the registry. It looks like this setting will have to be referenced in the system.xml and player before we are able to change it. Out of curiosity I looked to see how MPC-HC handles LAV filter settings when using a *.ini file. For MPC-HC the setting is RGBRange="0,1,2" with 0 being TV level, 1 PC and 2 untouched. I was hoping that it would be as easy as adding RGBRange=0 to the existing system.xml but this does not seem to be the case. Hopefully Andy can add this setting for us as I think many of us would appreciate it. Edited February 4, 2014 by Jdiesel
ragico 11 Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 I started to use it and found it great. Minor nuances as that I've to adjust (for every movie I play) the lav video decoder setting to "TV" as the default is "PC" and this is causing false blacks on my Panasonic Plasma TV. Carry on Luke, you're a great man. Sorry for my English. Cheers. 1
Luke 42077 Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Thanks, but you should thank Andy. He's done most of the work on the internal player. I think there are more settings to come to allow you to fine tune as you wish.
ragico 11 Posted February 5, 2014 Posted February 5, 2014 Ok. Thanks to Andy. And thanks to you all involved in this project. I love MB.
