Group tv episodes together below show

This works well if you have episodes in separate folders with the name of the show like:

-TV

--SomeShow

---SomeShowEpisode1

---SomeShowEpisode2

--AnotherShow

---AnotherShowEpisode1

---AnotherShowEpisode2

However, if you got:

-TV

--SomeShowEpisode1

--SomeShowEpisode2

--SomeShowEpisode3

--AnotherShowEpisode1

--AnotherShowEpisode2

--YetAnotherShowEpisode1

--YetAnotherShowEpisode2

Then your left with one showname per episode, rather than emby library view is groups in to showname with episodes below.

Is this possible?

No, that is not possible.  Please see our supported conventions here: TV naming

There would have to be some universal way to determine what part of your file name is "SomeShow" and what part is "Episode..." and that does not exist.

Would this be possible via a plugin? Lets for the sake of argument say there exist a standard based on where you get the things from, where dirname is Some.Show.S01E13.... (Season 1 Episode 13)

Yes it's possible to get the content into your library but not yet full support for internet metadata

I use the nextPVR plugin.

This works for web emby client, and possibly others (I dont have others), but the ROKU does not work.  It is a feature I would like to have on the roku.

NextPVR does have folders for the show name, but the episodes in them are showname_date_time for me as I have not activated the services_episode info in nextPVR, as I dont believe Australia sends that stuff.

In summary, can the roku/nextPVR work the same as the web/nextpvr
