Cannot get it to work with my Yamaha receiver

Hello,

I am trying to get the server to work with my Yamaha RX-V679BL 7.2-Channel MusicCast AV Receiver. It will detect it in the server software. But it will not show up when I use the Yamaha app on my phone. I tried using a profile someone made up for Yamaha.. But still doesn't work.. Any help would be great! I'm trying to find some reliable software whether it's free or paid.

I have tried universal media server and it works sporadically. So was hope in this server software would work better

yea I'm sure there's a trivial answer, the main issue is we don't have a yamaha receiver in house for testing. I was hoping I could test the app myself without a yamaha receiver but it doesn't look like that's possible. Have you tried just giving the app a minute? there are mulitple detection methods so depending on what the yamaha supports it could be instantaneous or it could be up to a minute later. thanks.

After some tweaking. I got it to work. Thank you for the feedback. I'll see if the premiere membership is something I can use. I usually just do music streaming.

I think I got to work by using my username under DLNA, Instead of default user..
