Well personally this option is broke as this setting is required for Complex folder structure.  It use to appear on all Content types, so It would had to happen awhile ago or kodibart is using Unset/Mixed library content type.

Deleting the nfo will not remove the information already written to system.xml, unless something has changed.

Correct but that file might be causing mis-detection in the season folder. Probably but worth trying. The important thing is probably my previous suggestion:

Guys, everything seems to be OK now. First I deleted every tvshow. nfo file in every season folder (7 in total) then in Metadata Manager I switch The Walking Dead to Inherit and did a rescan of my library. Now I have averything I want like episode information pictures of the characters etc.
