kodibart 0 Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 I have no idea what is going wrong I have a lot of TV shows on my Nas they all have the same structure. But for some bizarre reason emby cannot get it right for the walking dead. No poster no episode information no list of actors etc. all the seasons are separate folders with a single color.

arztonyou 17 Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 If you look in the Metadata Manager, does it show anything at all for the show? If not, try adding in the correct theTVDB or IMDB id under External IDs and see if it correctly matches the show.
mediacowboy 438 Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 What's the folder structure on the file system level look like? 1
kodibart 0 Posted February 12, 2017 Author Posted February 12, 2017 (edited) /volumes/video/series/the walking dead/ why does it work with the other TV shows except this one? all my series are like this /volumes/video/series/nameofthetvshow/each season in his own folder. Happy2Play 9780 Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 The only way for this to happen is if something is wrong with the folder structure. Can you post a screenshot of the in series in Metadata Manager and one of the seasons.

Happy2Play 9780 Posted February 13, 2017 Posted February 13, 2017 Just curious, why do you have so much storage? Servers at two different locations. Just a media hoarder.
kodibart 0 Posted February 14, 2017 Author Posted February 14, 2017 no 2 different locations. there is only one Nas in the house and the ip start with 192.168 if I would have a bad file/folder structure why does it come it works well with the other TV shows? It's just with the walking dead I am having issues with. will post more screenshots tonight
CharleyVarrick 283 Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 (edited) /volumes/video/series/the walking dead/ why does it work with the other TV shows except this one? all my series are like this /volumes/video/series/nameofthetvshow/each season in his own folder. /volumes/video/series/The Walking Dead/Season 1/The Walking Dead S01E01 Days Gone Bye.mkv/ (actual file name may vary slightly) if everything checks out ok, I would cut and paste the parent walking dead folder out of Emby's monitored folder, remove all nfo and art, then cut and paste back to original location. I agree with Happy2Play: something must be (even slightly) off in the structure of that show. Edited February 14, 2017 by jlr19
kodibart 0 Posted February 15, 2017 Author Posted February 15, 2017 here are some screenshots from the metadata manager
dcook 299 Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 (edited) I think the extra "Seizoen 1" under Season 1 is causing your issue. Should just be one level for Seasons instead you have two. Edited February 15, 2017 by dcook
kodibart 0 Posted February 15, 2017 Author Posted February 15, 2017 if you look at the this screenshot you see that above the path there is a selection bar . This is only visible with this particular tv show The next screenshot is a different tv show, and as you can clearly see, this one does not show this selection bar
kodibart 0 Posted February 15, 2017 Author Posted February 15, 2017 I think the extra "Seizoen 1" under Season 1 is causing your issue. Should just be one level for Seasons instead you have two. on my nas I only use the following structure nfs://192.168.0.3/volume1/video/Series/The Walking Dead/Season 1
Jorpd 0 Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 Can you double check that in: nfs://192.168.0.3/volume1/video/Series/The Walking Dead/Season 1 There are no further folders? Metadata manager suggests there's another folder in there that contains all of the episodes.

kodibart 0 Posted February 15, 2017 Author Posted February 15, 2017 I swicthed to English First screenshot you see that I can choose Content type (TV Show / Inheret Next screenhot (other tv show) you see there is no such "content type' selection
Jorpd 0 Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 Have you tried removing the .nfo files? For my own sanity I'd still like to see directory listings for the following directories: nfs://192.168.0.3/volume1/video/Series/ nfs://192.168.0.3/volume1/video/Series/The Walking Dead/ nfs://192.168.0.3/volume1/video/Series/The Walking Dead/Season 1
Luke 42078 Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 @kobibart can you show us a screenshot of the folder contents of nfs://192.168.0.3/volume1/video/Series/The Walking Dead/ and nfs://192.168.0.3/volume1/video/Series/The Walking Dead/Season 1 thanks !

kodibart 0 Posted February 15, 2017 Author Posted February 15, 2017 The content type at series level is one issue, what is your Library type, TV or Unset? sorry where should I find this?
Happy2Play 9780 Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 sorry where should I find this? Dashboard-Library How did you setup your Series library?
Happy2Play 9780 Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 @@kodibart can you show us a screenshot of the folder contents of /volumes/video/Series/The Walking Dead/ and /volumes/video/Series/The Walking Dead/Season 1 thanks ! Also need this.
Happy2Play 9780 Posted February 15, 2017 Posted February 15, 2017 To capture this issue, content type "TV" means The Walking Dead series folder becomes a Parent folder and everything inside it is considered a Series (i.e. each season). The simple fix should be changing The Walking Dead content type to "Inherit" hit save and perform a library scan. The question is why or how did it get set to "TV"? This screenshot shows an additional issue if you have nested Season/Seizoen folders, the reason for the request of file system folder level screenshots.
