SpecialAgent 2 Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 Hi, most of my channels need to needs to get manually correction by scaling the video picture. Is this app not able to automatically choose the scale and aspect ratio? I have a 5MB video, which shows this behaviour, but I can not attach the file (You aren't permitted to upload this kind of file). So please send my a PM and I'll sent it to you. Thx.
ebr 16174 Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 You can PM me a dropbox link but I believe this is an issue with the Google player with some videos and is one of the reasons we implemented the ability to zoom manually.
tre4b 4 Posted February 19, 2017 Posted February 19, 2017 I'm seeing the same thing. I'm not sure about the player though. Using the TV scale function the shape changes yet not as far as the edges of the screen. 4:3 looks a little too thin and when you zoom or expand horizontally it is like it stretches to fit 4:3. Feels like Emby is reading the display as a 4:3 display rather than a 16:9 one so something is giving it the wrong info. This IS the case on my fire stick, on the Fire TV though seems to work okay for all except recorded DVDs.
revengineer 142 Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 The automatic zoom does not work for me either. The picture size remains the same (no stretching), just the origin is moved around. How do you zoom manually?
ebr 16174 Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 How do you zoom manually? On the OSD, there is a button at the end that looks like a menu. In that menu there is a zoom option.
revengineer 142 Posted October 8, 2017 Posted October 8, 2017 Hm, I tried that. The options were like horizontal, vertical and horizontal+vertical zoom. For each option, the image size does not change, the image just moves around. This is on FireTV Stick.
