Screen goes to sleep while playing video

Repro:

1. Set sleep to turn after 30 seconds of inactivity via Android Settings > display
2. Open emby
3. Play video
4. Wait 30 seconds
5. Verify screen turns black

Thanks for the re-direct. I didn't see the testing area thread at first and was getting a ton of heat from my SO that I needed to figure out why the tablet wouldn't let her watch movies this morning. I can now tell her it is a known issue and direct her back to using a browser.

It sounds like in both of your cases running the beta app is not the appropriate choice for you.

This might wind up being the case. What's odd is that I am only having this issue on my Galaxy Tab S2, and not on any of my other Android devices all 6 of them.

Funny thing, because you wrote Galaxy Tab S2, I tested on mine (also Tab S2), and the screen doesn't go off with latest beta when video is playing. No matter if Smart Stay is turned on or off.

I opted out of beta, uninstalled Emby and then re-installed Emby for Android and now the screen works just fine with or without Smart Stay. I don't know what's causing the issue though if you are testing on a Tab S2 and not encountering the issue.
