HTPCS 1 Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 (edited) HI all Been through a few posts but no answer found so here goes Latest Emby 3.2 on Qnap is not identifying Movies meta data . TV Shows Works and meta data is downloaded including images, but movies does not find unless i manually identify. No good for over 4000 movies. Important Criteria - Emby has been uninstalled and reinstalled fresh - Not my first import of data so cache config may exist somewhere from a previous scan. - /share/CACHEDEV4_DATA/.qpkg/Emby was deleted when uninstalled. - Movies are named - \Movie (year)\movie.ext - \Backdraft (1991)\Backdraft.avi - No Nfo files exist in folders I will keep working and try to figure it out but maybe someone has a idea. Luke 42077 Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 Hi, can you please provide the emby server log from that example? you can learn how to do that here: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/739-how-to-report-a-problem/ Thanks !
HTPCS 1 Posted February 11, 2017 Author Posted February 11, 2017 OK Bear with me. I uninstalled Emby hoping a cache issue would be first response. Let me reinstall and do a sample imput. Regards, HTPCS
HTPCS 1 Posted February 11, 2017 Author Posted February 11, 2017 Bloody Typical. Been working on this for days. Seems while import is currently running on yet another fresh isntall, it is identifying media for first time. No reason why. Monitoring to see if further changes have effect. Regards, HTPCS
HTPCS 1 Posted February 11, 2017 Author Posted February 11, 2017 mmm It was working, so i decided to start fresh again and configure server before import movies and tv ( still running ), but same issue I suspect the methodology is the issue I will allow import to complete before i replicate working config and then figure out where it went wrong.
Luke 42077 Posted February 11, 2017 Posted February 11, 2017 Thanks for the update. Keep in mind one of our movie internet providers has been up and down today, you can read about it on their front page: http://www.omdbapi.com/ That's not the only provider we use but if/when it happens to be down it is one less search engine available to match against.
HTPCS 1 Posted February 12, 2017 Author Posted February 12, 2017 Seems it may be working. Sync is sooooo slow Running now for nearly 24 hours and is only 67% Looks good though. will just let it run. Original issue appears to be a result of first initial sync not being allowed to complete. then when running update on library after that it was not picking up where it left off for metadata. Regards, HTPCS.
HTPCS 1 Posted February 12, 2017 Author Posted February 12, 2017 Still not convinced Been stuck at 67.3% for hours. Any chance you can check logs and see if it is just slow or if there is an issue. Log.txt
Luke 42077 Posted February 12, 2017 Posted February 12, 2017 I would just be patient and allow it to finish. Again, the Omdb errors are slowing things down. Please see post #7. Thanks.
