Hello, I came over emby yesterday and the product looked so great, but there is one problem I am having:

 

I I understand correctly emby needs direct acces to media eiter via smb share or it being localy right?

 

In kodi today I use a web path like: "https://domain.com/movies for movie path, is this in any way supported?

 

if not is there a way to update my library on emby from kodi so emby does not need direct acces to the media?

Yes, or in my case https. kodi can have many difrent sorce types, like nfs, smb, http and https. and https is a great solution cos trafic is encrypted
