illumina0 0 Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 I recently installed emby about a week ago and initially everything worked great. I use the kodi addon with it on my windows 8 HTPC. I realized a few days ago though that my library hasn't been updating after new media was added to the folder and that I have to manually scan library each time for it to pick up new media. Most recent log attached. Any assistance would be great. Thanks! server-63622264681.txt
Happy2Play 9780 Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 Are you having network or hardware issues? System.IO.IOException: The network path was not found System.IO.DirectoryNotFoundException: Could not find a part of the path 'C:\Users\xxxxxx\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\cache\tmdb-movies2\72777\all-en.json'
rbjtech 5284 Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 Are you sure the Library is being real time monitored ? This is now done per Library rather than a global setting so it may not be selected (you select it when you first setup the library).

I'm not sure what's generating that error.

Luke 42079 Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 Can you show a screenshot of your library setup for the particular library in question? Thanks !
illumina0 0 Posted February 14, 2017 Author Posted February 14, 2017 screenshot attached. I think the issue might be that when my library scans for updates, it's getting stuck at 63% and so it isn't performing the real time monitoring since it's still in the middle of a scan. I've included a more recent log. Any help as to why it's doing that would be great! server-63622540800.txt
Luke 42079 Posted February 14, 2017 Posted February 14, 2017 Correct, the realtime monitor is off during the scan.
illumina0 0 Posted February 14, 2017 Author Posted February 14, 2017 Update: I removed my most recent folder that was added to my library (unsorted) and that seemed to have fixed the mistake of my library not completing its scan. Haven't tried to see if that has fixed the real time monitor but I am assuming it will. Thanks @@Luke for the assist!
