Server Crash- backdrop conflict

Recommended Posts

Hi Emby Crew,

I've had this one about 3 times now. Have only experienced it in 3.2.0 (running in OMV/debian).

When selecting a movie through the web interface, which *seems* to happen on movies that haven't finished downloading all their metadata, the emby service will crash when trying to download the backdrop.jpg file for the html page.

Here's a snippet when it crashes:

Is there any way to make the sharing violation more resilient so the server doesn't crash?

Can you post your full log?

That's the only error? Or do you see other errors? Like that it's used by another process?

Hi @@Sven,

It just occurred again. The library had synced about 7 hours ago, So i went into a movie and as it rendered the html page, the backdrop image again by the looks of it, the service crashed.

The full log is attached. if you search for "2017-02-10 07:06:51.9867 Error HttpServer: Error processing request", everything below that seems to be related to it.

Thanks

Lindsay

This has also happened to me twice now.

@@dcrdev in your case, were you manually "re-identifying" a movie at the time? I think *most*, maybe all, happen during this process for me.
