linds1234 19 Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Hi Emby Crew, I've had this one about 3 times now. Have only experienced it in 3.2.0 (running in OMV/debian). When selecting a movie through the web interface, which *seems* to happen on movies that haven't finished downloading all their metadata, the emby service will crash when trying to download the backdrop.jpg file for the html page. Here's a snippet when it crashes: Is there any way to make the sharing violation more resilient so the server doesn't crash? 2017-02-09 20:09:09.6836 Error HttpServer: Error processing request *** Error Report *** Version: 3.2.0.0 Command line: /opt/emby/MediaBrowser.Server.Mono.exe -programdata /media/cf235226-96cb-467a-b599-0b570c2bb4ca/emby -restartpath /usr/sbin/emby.sh Operating system: Unix 3.16.0.0 64-Bit OS: True 64-Bit Process: True Mono: 4.6.2 (Stable 4.6.2.16/ac9e222 Tue Jan 3 11:48:26 UTC 2017) Processor count: 4 Program data path: /media/cf235226-96cb-467a-b599-0b570c2bb4ca/emby Application directory: /opt/emby System.IO.IOException: Sharing violation on path /media/cf235226-96cb-467a-b599-0b570c2bb4ca/emby/metadata/library/5a/5a5823734a157ef7b3de44b41c96beb5/backdrop.jpg at System.IO.FileStream..ctor (System.String path, System.IO.FileMode mode, System.IO.FileAccess access, System.IO.FileShare share, System.Int32 bufferSize, System.Boolean anonymous, System.IO.FileOptions options) [0x0025f] in <8f2c484307284b51944a1a13a14c0266>:0 at System.IO.FileStream..ctor (System.String path, System.IO.FileMode mode, System.IO.FileAccess access, System.IO.FileShare share, System.Int32 bufferSize) [0x00000] in <8f2c484307284b51944a1a13a14c0266>:0 at (wrapper remoting-invoke-with-check) System.IO.FileStream:.ctor (string,System.IO.FileMode,System.IO.FileAccess,System.IO.FileShare,int) at Emby.Common.Implementations.IO.ManagedFileSystem.GetFileStream (System.String path, MediaBrowser.Model.IO.FileOpenMode mode, MediaBrowser.Model.IO.FileAccessMode access, MediaBrowser.Model.IO.FileShareMode share, System.Boolean isAsync) [0x00045] in <42c5174dc9d74c7a87560f62bb636308>:0 at MediaBrowser.Providers.Manager.ImageSaver+<SaveImageToLocation>d__11.MoveNext () [0x0018a] in <e96c64909aca4757bb8e8d8c563b75e4>:0 --- End of stack trace from previous location where exception was thrown --- thanks!
Sven 136 Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Can you post your full log? That's the only error? Or do you see other errors? Like that it's used by another process?
linds1234 19 Posted February 9, 2017 Author Posted February 9, 2017 Hi @@Sven, It just occurred again. The library had synced about 7 hours ago, So i went into a movie and as it rendered the html page, the backdrop image again by the looks of it, the service crashed. The full log is attached. if you search for "2017-02-10 07:06:51.9867 Error HttpServer: Error processing request", everything below that seems to be related to it. Thanks Lindsay Log.txt
linds1234 19 Posted February 12, 2017 Author Posted February 12, 2017 (edited) @@dcrdev in your case, were you manually "re-identifying" a movie at the time? I think *most*, maybe all, happen during this process for me. Edited February 12, 2017 by linds1234
Luke 42078 Posted May 11, 2017 Posted May 11, 2017 @@linds1234, @@dcrdev, this is resolved for the next release of emby server. thanks !
