Ponyo 22 Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Hi there, I've been making some changes to some of my media files (removing audio tracks, renaming subtitle tracks etc). I've copied the new files directly over my existing files. However Emby is not rescanning the media and updating the .nfo file located in the media folder. I've tried rescanning the media library and removing the .nfo file but it doesn't appear that .nfo files are updated or that a new .nfo is created after removing the old one. Is there any way to automatically update/renew .nfo files without removing media from the library (and re-adding it)?
Luke 42080 Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 Hi, if you make changes to a media file, then as long as the timestamp of the file changes, Emby Server will adapt to the changes with the next library scan. Does this help?
