tpchristian 2 Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 I have been "playing" with emby for quite a while now. Started to get serious about replacing WMC. I got a HDHR-prime and that is working fine. I got a year subscription to schedules direct. Guide Issue When I first d/l'ed the guide it look good, but recently (not exactly sure how long) it is not loading properly. Today I am refreshing it and it seems to load only certain channels. If I refresh the guide page while it is refreshing, I can see some channels. When the refresh complete those are gone, but it is not empty -- some channels remain. Because of this, one show didn't record right away. I think it picked up the channel/show during the refresh and started recording, although late. It kept recording then, even thought the listing for that channel is not there anymore. (A good thing) Movies & Saved TV This had been working fine. I had it pointed to a local drive that, until somewhat recently, I had used to store these items. Since then, I have them on a Synology NAS. So I removed the old library paths to the local drive and put in the new paths. I've tried to put in the UNC path as well as setting up a mapped drive letter for them. Neither of these types of items seem to populate. I can see the NAS files fine from windows explorer or the command line listing. Seems like I must have something major wrong that I'm starting to see many issues. I am currently on the latest version: 3.2.2.0 I have restarted a couple times and initiating a new guide d/l as well as a library scan. Attached: server log server-63622178973.txt

Are you saying that when browsing Emby you just don't see any content? I had done a library sync two times before this last one. The progress bar had shown that it complete. Both movies and tv libraries were completely empty. However, I just check again and, at this point, I have 1 TV episode and 68 out ~1500. The progress bar is still showing so I will assuming that it may be working. I report back if the progress bar completes and it still seems like there is a problem.

Well, actually, I just search for how to switch to beta and the thread talked about installing the beta over the top. It also recommended not reinstalling stable in the same server. Since I want to be on stable most of the time, do I need to setup a new server to test the beta?
Luke 42078 Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 I've posted the beta. Since you're on windows it is as easy as installing over the top of your existing version. Normally we do not recommend switching back and forth due to possible database differences, but at the moment there are none. It would be OK to install the beta, refresh the guide and check it out, then go back to stable if you want. Thanks !
tpchristian 2 Posted February 9, 2017 Author Posted February 9, 2017 I tested again with 3.2 0.104. It seem like I am having the same or similar results. I checked the guide mid-update and it seemed like the guide was populated for all channels. I checked again after it was complete and many channels didn't have guide info populated. While looking at this mid-update, I also noticed that my CBS (189) channel didn't show on the guide at all. I do see it now that it is complete, but noticed that Fox (188, I think) is gone. server-63622246099.txt

tpchristian 2 Posted February 9, 2017 Author Posted February 9, 2017 No, to be honest, I'm not even sure what that is. The only thing I can think of, in that area, that I've done is that in the HDHR setup I disabled all channels except for HD channels. I was looking for a way to limit which channels show in the guide. If that is not a preferable way and there is another method, I could do that.
