cw-kid 192 Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 (edited) Hi Some of my music albums are not identified. If I select the "Indentify" option from the menu and manually populate all the information like the Musicbrainz and TheaudioDB ID fields and click search nothing happens nothing is found: If I instead edit the album info and manually enter these ID's and save. I then see this line of links is added If I then refresh the album and all the metadata I still do not get an overview description appearing. Yet there is one here on TheaudioDB website, as I just added it. What gives? Thanks Edited February 8, 2017 by cw-kid
Luke 42085 Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 Hi there, we're very sorry to hear about this. In order for us to best help you, please provide the emby server log. you can learn how to do that here: https://emby.media/community/index.php?/topic/739-how-to-report-a-problem/ Thanks !
cw-kid 192 Posted February 8, 2017 Author Posted February 8, 2017 Attached is the latest log file Thanks. server-63622168629.txt
cw-kid 192 Posted February 8, 2017 Author Posted February 8, 2017 This is how that album looks in the metadata manager I also currently have two a-ha artists which probably isn't helping matters either. See thread here Many thanks
Luke 42085 Posted February 8, 2017 Posted February 8, 2017 We have a client-side data cache of audiodb data so if you just edited the audiodb website, try the refresh again in a few days and it should work. thanks.
cw-kid 192 Posted February 8, 2017 Author Posted February 8, 2017 OK thanks but why is the indentify search not working ? Actually for some albums that Emby had previously indentified correctly that did not have an overview description. If I added the overview on TheaudioDB site and refreshed in Emby then that overview text would appear OK for the album in Emby. But does not for my a-ha example in the screen shots. I think its because I have two a-ha artists that it is having problems.
Luke 42085 Posted February 9, 2017 Posted February 9, 2017 It's because your identify screenshot you entered release group id, and left release id blank. when release id is left blank we currently do a lookup by name and that lookup produced an empty result set. we can improve that to do the lookup by the release group id, thanks. 1

What is the refresh delay ? Is there a way to selectively refresh it via audiodb id or musicbrainz id ?
Luke 42085 Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 A few days. Just use the buttons inside the web interface to handle your refreshes. Let us know if this helps. Thanks.
