Could someone help me figure out - I was asked to let one of my users download a movie - its all setup in the server all the setting are correct - they are able to start the download with no problem. I know emby needs to stay open so the download will continue.

so that's all taken care of - How can you tell when it's done - I started a movie downloading, but haven't see and message - Download complete.

Any help good or bad is welcome :-)

Thank you....

Ok we have not implemented that yet. If you use the browser version or built in web app then you can use the browser's built in download management.

I see. Not to argue buts it's working. Just no message telling me it's done.. I had them download a small vid 250mb and it plays.. it took awhile for it to finish but it worked.

Ty Luke for your help you always come through.. do you know of a program that I can use till it completed. (please no rush) emby is a dam good program and all the bells and whistles just makes it that much better. We all know you and the others work very hard on this project. We all are very grateful.

Exactly we are embedding Chromium but it doesn't come with the built-in download manager that Chrome has. We just haven't built out that presentation yet.
