Could Not Receive the Content List

Hi All

I have 2x Sony Bravia (2013) TV's that are now both having the same DLNA problem.

The server (3.2.0.100beta) appears fine on the TV but when I select it I don't see any files, folders or media.  I just get the message "Could Not Receive the Content List".

The TV sees the server and the server sees the TV and displays all the appropriate info like TV brand and model etc...

Also 'Playto' works fine.

I've disabled my firewall and I've also factory reset the TV and set it up from scratch and still had no luck.

I'm not sure if the issue is related to me going back to W7 for W10 and using the Server backup plugin?

Any ideas?

Kind regards

Hi, unfortunately I don't have a 2013 bravia for testing but I do have a 2014 and it seems to be fine. have you customized the dlna profile? if so I would delete your customization and try the stock profile.

If that doesn't help, then I would try to isolate the issue. What you can do is create a test video library in Emby with a folder that has just a single video. Then create a new Emby user and grant them access to only that folder. Then in Dlna settings configure that user as the default dlna user.

When you browse from the tv it will then use the libraries from that user. See if that works.

I created a user named 'test' and added a single folder/file and granted permission as you suggested.

Set DLNA default user to 'test' and everything is working now on TV as it should.

However when I changed the default user back to my normal main account that too is now working 100% fine.

I have no idea what caused it or what fixed it.  But it looks like the issue was just isolated to me.

Thank you very much for your help Luke.
