Galapagon 0 Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 Hi guys, @@ebr, I'm having an issue when trying to cast from windows or android to my tv. Also note that there is no sound bar attached, just tv audio.I do not get any sound when trying to watch live tv broadcast OR previously recorded tv. However, I do get audio when watching movies from my personal library. Last night I was trying to watch live tv in the bedroom and wasn't getting a picture, which resolved itself today, so at least I'm heading in the right direction.Thank you in advance for your help with this. ffmpeg-transcode-8211b5d5-ba40-475e-97b5-5a8f31993dfd(Android).txt ffmpeg-transcode-c01669f0-505b-46c4-a34c-b2f223c4d2bb.txt server-63621995739.txt
Luke 42077 Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 Hi @@Galapagon, it's passing dolby ac3 to your Chromecast, which the Chromecast detected as being supported. What is the chromecast connected to, directly to the TV?
Galapagon 0 Posted February 7, 2017 Author Posted February 7, 2017 Luke, it has, again, decided to fix itself. I refreshed my library and restarted the server (again) after adding a new movie to my library and now live tv, tv recordings, and movies all have sound when cast. I did notice that today when trying to cast, I had a volume control available in chrome that was not there previously. I assume this has something to do with it, but who knows why.Thank you for your quick response.
