New resume point: 0

Hi!
 

I installed emby for Kodi for all my clients and I noticed that resuming playback is a hit and miss. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't and stopping the playback marks the file as watched and when playing the file again it starts from the beginning.

 

I had a look into the logfile and I can see, that it sometimes reports the correct resume point:

and sometimes it doesn't:

It's the same file and all I did between those two tests is to restart Kodi.

 

 

Sometimes it works a few times:

and then suddenly doesn't work anymore (without restarting Kodi in between):

(as you can see there are just a few seconds between the log entries). Please see the attached log for details.

 

I'm currently on the stable version of the "emby for kodi"-repository and I'm using the final version of Kodi 17 on all my devices on various plattforms (Android, Windows). I tried it with the "Emby for Kodi Sync Queue"-plugin and without it and the result is the same.

 

Does anybody have a suggestion what else I could try?
